[The video feed starts with a rather flustered Conan tightly gripping his glasses with one hand.]
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the gyroshei to go away? A few of them have been following me, and they keep trying to get at my glasses.
A loud noise seem to work earlier, but-
[And Conan is suddenly interrupted as one of the birds lands behind him and tilts its head in interest as the light glints off the metal on his glasses, watch and belt. It solves the issue of deciding what to go for first by neatly hooking its talon in the back of his jacket and carrying him off.]

Conan! Grab something to hold on to! And close your eyes!
[ She really doesn't want him to fall when she does what she's about to do. ]
Volt!
[ Yep! Nothing shinier and probably noisier than a ball of lightning with eyes suddenly appearing before the bird. ]

Are you okay?

I'm okay. Thanks for the save.

[ She studies him as she opens the shop door. ]
It's not severe, is it? Because you're not squinting like I've seen some people do.

[He wasn't about to pretend to squint. ]

[ She looks around and smiles. ]
Which would help to read a menu--since we're in a cafe.
[ She hadn't even realized where they had been heading. ]

I need a better solution, though. I can't stay inside until the gyroshei leave.
no subject
True, but we can think of something while eating though, right?
[ Besides, she has an idea or two. ]
no subject
[He had some ideas, but he wanted to get some more facts on these birds before pursuing any of them. ]

Look at it this way: If we can't come up with something, at least we'll be rested up enough to escape!
[ Not exactly a silver lining, right? ]
