There have to be. I dunno off the top of my head, but I'd guess that the Aisling Tower probably has the most thorough records. They're not always big on sharing, though, so the Academy libraries might be a better bet.
I've been here a couple years - sort of - so I might be able to answer some questions?
Well, how do I say this... Someone from my world was here, for a while. But he’s from my past, and I guess I’m just wondering if anyone knows how that’s going to affect things in my world.
And yep, years. Well, about a year in Aifaran, and about two and a half years in Keeliai - but 566 years ago according to this world's timeline. It's a long story.
[There is a short pause between one text and another as she considers that last line.]
That happens, yeah. My best friend was from a couple days ahead of me, we're synced up now due to that long story I mentioned but. Anyway. I can try to explain what I know, but it might be better over a cup of tea or something, if you're up for it. Tea makes metaphysics less of a headache.
Sounds good! I'm the redhead wearing a gray sweater.
[And indeed, by the time Jacen arrives, Pepper has claimed a corner table with cushy seats. The cafe she's selected is casual and welcoming, not the cheapest place ever but definitely not going to break the bank. The cost will be worth it - everything here is delicious, the pastries are handmade, and the staff is super friendly. She's bought a whole pot of tea to share, and a small late of mixed scones. Since Jacen is new, he's probably still building up his cash reserves and she invited him, so it seems only fair to treat him.
She'll greet him with a smile and a wave once they spot each other. Oh. That sure is Ilda's latest crush. Welp.]
[ Jacen arrives wearing a plain white shirt, denim jeans, sneakers and the midnight blue jacket as seen in the picture Ilda sent Pepper. He looks completely ordinary except for the cylindrical metal object not-so-surreptitiously tucked into the waistband of his pants.
He gives the crowd a quick scan, both with his eyes and his Force sense, and he finds Pepper easily. He waves and approaches with a smile, his hands tucked casually into the pockets of his jacket. ]
Pepper? Hi. Jacen. Um, do I shake your hand or something? Not sure about the right customs these days.

That really sounds like a long story, and I already have so many questions. Won’t I be imposing, though?

Nah, I offered and I've got the time. I like chatting with people, and I ask a lot of questions too, so it doesn't bother me.
[Understatement. She sends him an address for one of her favorite cafes, about ten minutes from the Dreaming Bridge.]
Hopefully this isn't too far a walk - I can meet you in about a half hour if you're free?

Guess that makes two of us.
The asking a lot of questions part, I mean.
Not at all. I’m still looking for a job, so I don’t really have a full schedule these days.
See you?
