Turtles? I'm not entirely sold on what was described when I got here by the people at the Dreaming Bridge, although there are turtle gods back in Japan. Gen-bu, Oto-hime, Mino-game... so it's not unheard of.

But what I can't figure out is, where are all the shrines around here? You've got tons of different peoples all living in the same place, but no one thought to set up proper shrines??

What you all need is a new god to take care of those prayers of yours that have probably been going unanswered!

[ Ilda's remark seems to stick more pointedly at Yato then his casual demeanor lets on. ]

[ She pauses for a bit, trying to digest the information. They have an Afterlife in their religion, too, but this is the first time she’s heard about that sort of post-death fate. No resting in peace then? ]

So even in death, we serve the gods. [ It’s not an angry or accusatory tone, though. She says it in the same way one would state that the sky is blue. ]

... Then let’s make sure you don’t stay homeless for long! [ Her enthusiasm is back now, but you can see the determination in her eyes. ] Is there a cap for wishes? How soon can I make another?

[ That... wasn't exactly what he'd been trying to convey with the explanation, so that's a little worrying. But she rebounds almost as fast as Yato himself does. ]

For a job, or in general?

For work, well… I enjoy trading. It’s what I do back home, and I have a lot of fun with it. I mostly sell fish and the stuff we make out of it, but I also procure goods that my regulars request.

If you mean hobbies, I like hanging out with people! Bring me to the marketplace or where people are at and I can be there all day. I also like to explore! Not that I did that much back home, but I’d love to when I can!
