[Klaus looks a little frazzled but extremely happy. He's seemed to have replaced his usual waistcoat and tie with a light green apron set with a pin of a little pink tulip. He's leaning on a broom in what looks like a cafe, heavily decorated with potted plants. Yes that is a leaf stuck in his hair, no he hasn't noticed it.]
I am happy to announce that Die Rosa Tulpe will be open for business starting tomorrow at 5am, on the dot. We serve coffee, both hot and iced, as well as a variety of teas, soft drinks, snacks and pastries. If you are looking for work, there are a number of positions open. Or if you perhaps have art to display, there is room for your works, and Friday and Saturday nights we have an open mic for musicians and poetry readings.
[He's panning the camera around the cafe now - it's a nice set-up - lots of tables and comfortable seats, including a number of very fat arm chairs and a corner couch. The shop is painted in a muted pastel sage green with occasional touches of light pink wherever the polished wood isn't bare, and potted plants are positively everywhere.]
We're located on the boardwalk by the bay - our normal hours of operation are 5am-7pm, except on Fridays and Saturdays where we're open until eleven.
...I'm afraid I don't have a catchy slogan to sign off with so I will simply wish you all a good evening and I hope to see you at the shop in the near future. Thank you very much for your time.

I wondered when we might see the grand reveal, [said cheerfully,] and now here it is! You have been quite busy--and this explains all the activity I glimpsed downstairs.
Re: [video]
I do hope the business itself is pleasing. I've set aside a spot that should be agreeable for showcasing your works. We can go over the specifics if you like?
no subject
One of the--oh! [well, shit, mystery solved.] Oh, well--I think it should go without saying that I am very glad it wasn't successful in its misadventure.
And I would be happy to go over the specifics with you. Are you in the café now? I'm just upstairs, it would not take me long to freshen up and come down.
['not long' in Fool Time, at any rate.]
no subject
[Klaus you fool you don't know what you're saying]
no subject
[And now he saw that Klaus was fidgeting a lot.] Is...something wrong?
no subject
Ah, Leonardo - My apologies - I should have asked. I didn't want to bother you.
[He looked askance at the clock on the wall.]
The Fool said he'd be down to go over possible displays for his work, but it's been nearly half an hour. Did you happen to see him on your way down?
[He was looking a little worried. He wasn't aware of the Fool's general lack of punctuality and after the incident with Gamimotz, he's always been a bit jittery when things seem... off.]
no subject
I didn't, but I can go check on him. Here, can you take Michella?
[Leo was already offering the happy bibiru to Klaus, turning back to go knock on the Fool's door and wonder why he was upsetting Klause of all people.]
no subject
[By the time they'd get down, Klaus could be found treating Michella to fresh cut strawberries and whipped cream.]

Re: [voice]
I do hope we'll see you around - do you care much for tea or coffee?
[voice]
I enjoy both, in fact, though I prefer tea for the taste. I'll certainly be stopping by soon.
Re: [voice]
There are a number of blends I've made, but I'll be happy for any suggestions if they're not on the menu.
[voice]
Re: [voice]
I'm always happy to recommend home-made blends, though do you have any overall preferences? Sweet? Herbal? Fruity? Spicy?

Re: [voice]
video;
[ his tone is light though ]
Re: video;
How have you been acclimating?
Re: video;
[ Bakura gives a halfhearted shrug ]
I've not spent as much time getting to know the city as some have.
Re: video;
I've had reason to explore the city - if you like, I can show you some places that might be of interest?
Re: video;
[ Aimless. Distracted. ]
Bored, for the most part.
[ The offer isn't expected, and yet unexpectedly welcome. ]
Yes, thank you.
Re: video;
If I recall, the dojo was always a bustle of activity so that's quite understandable.
Do you have any plans to re-open? Or are you perhaps pursuing other paths?
Re: video;
[ And his restlessness had begun to show, even in Keeliai, toward the end. ]
But now I find myself without many distractions.
Re: video;
Perhaps something will catch your eye and things will seem a bit less muddled.
Re: video;
Then I'll meet you at your new shop, kahney-aai.
[video]
The place looks great, Klaus. If you ever somebody to come take a look at the plumbing or fix the espresso machine, you know you can always give me a call. I'll even work for a discount if you throw some free coffee in there.
[...Not too much of a discount, though. He's kinda broke.]
[video]
Though the store could stand to benefit from your technical expertise - perhaps you'd like to take a look around and give me your professional opinion? Coffee would, of course, be on the house, and I would not expect a discount.
[video]
...Whatever the building codes here are. I can find out.
[There's got to be a city hall or whatever around here, right? Or maybe it's somewhere on their adorably rudimentary internet.]
Re: [video]
[Somebody is an unfortunate stickler for rules]
[video]
Sure, that'll work. [Hmm. Freelance building inspector – potential job opportunity?] I'll come by next time I have a few hours. I hope I'm not allergic to any of those plants.
[This is a joke. He's not allergic to anything except common sense.]
Re: [video]
Do you have any allergies? Most things in Konryu seem to have some kind of analogue to food and drink from our world so it's not difficult to substitute.
Re: [video]
No. I'm not sure I actually can have allergies? [This is an element of Extremis he has not investigated.] I just don't think I've ever seen that many plants inside a building before.
Re: [video]
That's a relief. Unfortunately we only have regular coffee for now. I should see about getting some kind of espresso substitute. Steven was always very fond of it - I'm sure there are others who are equally so.
Re: [video]
[See that face he's making right now? That's his Science Face.] Hey, do you think you could spare some beans every day for a while? It's for science. And coffee. Coffee science.
Re: [video]
I can. I know it's a comforting drink for many from Earth. And if you'd need to have a look at the grinder in the cafe's off hours, I can certainly accommodate.
[Does Aifaran need a java'd up Tony Stark? The world may have to prepare itself.]
Re: [video]
Maybe. If you're cool with me using the equipment to experiment, I could do it when you're not open so I'm not getting in anyone's way. I promise to leave everything in perfect working condition and to not upgrade it with artificial intelligence chips or nuclear reactors.
