[Rutile has been trying to take it in stride, but for someone who never really dreamed before, having two nightmares in a row is getting uncomfortable.]
I did, about a woman lost in the forest and seeking her wife. I wish I knew what they meant, but I have an awful feeling that finding out will be worse.
That sounds like what I dreamed of! Only she wasn't looking for her wife at first. She was getting firewood. She was scared of the dark, and then she heard her wife crying, so she dropped everything and went for her.
Yeah. It wasn't a normal darkness--it was almost like it was alive. No...wait. It also had a weight...it was heavy! That's it. Oppressive, and it could lead you astray.
[ She pauses. ]
Your first dream... By any chance, did it involve everything you ate turning to ash?
Nerrin again. He was in a jungle, but there was no sound and then a desert, and a giant, black pyramid that seemed solid, but also not.
[This vision disturbed her far more than the previous one, that feeling she got... from within Nerrin's soul she had none of her empathetic abilities, but that sensation had been strong enough to impact even him.]
It was like an abyss, drawing in everything...a great consuming void.

I did. A woman was in a dark forest looking for her wife and she heard her wife's voice. And she was crying.

Yeah...yeah. That's right. The wood was too wet for a fire...right?
[ She's not questioning the shared dreams; she's seen it all before. ]
Re: Voice
There was something about the darkness--she thought she heard voices? Before she heard her wife.

...Earlier, she was being attacked by a fog creature. I do not know what became of that, but it was different this time.
[And a successive dream...may mean that what's happening to Eitria is concurrent with the time Chase is experiencing, so...he went out and looked.]
Was yours also different from the first time?

[Because he sure couldn't. Then again, he couldn't identify where she was in the first vision to begin with.]
Did something happen to the person you saw?
