Hardly. All of the Dreamfolk I've interviewed - most of us - have seen something or other. It isn't a regular side effect of the Dreaming, though, and may end soon. There is historical precedent for events like these.

May I ask what you saw? I'm collecting narratives for references' sake.

Sometimes broken, sometimes fine. Sometimes one missing, or artificial.

Interesting. Do you happen to know the man's name, or his location? Even a brief description would be invaluable. And did his legs seem to take on all of these states at once, or was the vision's narrative simply confusing?

It was more like they couldn't decide what they wanted to be. Alternating all the time.

How you know it is not important, only that you do. You're not the only one who has seen this Faias.

I can't say I know of a single living thing that ever demonstrated such curious properties - or nonliving, for that matter - except for the kedan, of course, who I am unfamiliar with. But I've gotten no indication from other observers that Faias is one of them.

We've all been plagued by these aberrant apparitions. They don't seem to cause any physical harm so far, but they're certainly alarming. Are you alright?

It's the injuries you can't see that hurt I'm concerned about.

His name was Faias. His legs, both of them, sometimes they were broken.

Sometimes they were real, sometimes they were fake. The only real constant is that they were always changing.

Unfortunately, you'll find the Dreaming doesn't much care how it welcomes people, nor what they suffer while they're kept here. On occasion it does do something more pleasant, but it acts seemingly at random.

You'll get used to it.
