So...  Kind of a strange question. But anyone know if the dorms here allow pets?

[A rather sheepish Danny tilts the camera up to show the ball of white fluff sitting on his head and peeping softly. His hair is slightly on end, as if he's been near static electricity recently.]

It just kind of showed up. And when I say showed up, I mean it was kind of in a weird way?

[He still wasn't sure whether it was something he'd done or not.]

I think I'm going to call it Spooky.

Really? Me too. The only pet I ever had was a hamster when I was in third grade. [With the kinds of experiments his parents ran in the basement, having an animal running around the house wasn't really safe. ]

Cujo was kind of a stray that followed me around for a while.

My uncle forbade us from having any animals. And Da wasn't a big animal person, either.

[ Werewolves don't get along with animals in her world, so, ya know. ]

I guess that would do it. My parents weren't too happy about the idea of pets either.

Of course I do! I mean, I don't know if they even have one, or what they would have in it or if I would even go. But if I went somewhere like that I'd want company.

[ Only partially because his last trip to the zoo had ended with someone hunting him down and trying to put him in a zoo. Or possibly a trophy collection.]
