The longer a person is missing, the more difficult it is to find them. Its harder to find any evidence, and people's memories start to lose details. But it is still possible.

First, you need a better description on these posters. And we need to trace where he was just before he disappeared.

It isn't my area of expertise, but I've done it before. [He dealt with more thefts and murders than missing people, but he judged that wouldn't be a wise thing to say at the moment.]

You have a photograph, right? That's a good start. And its good that you included a few details about things that would make him stand out in people's memories. But its also good to have a more details physical description. Hair color, height, build, what he was wearing...

It will be harder to find something after this long, but it is still possible. I've seen several cases that were solved twenty years after the original incident happened. The best way would be to start at the last place we know he was, and go on from there. Sometimes people don't remember things until the right thing reminds them.

That's strange, but it might be worth showing to people anyway. Sometimes a person will remember clothes and height better than someone's face.

The twenty years weren't missing person cases. Most of them were thefts. But it was still possible to trace the criminal's movements in cases that old.

His room would be a good place to start.
