[ The feed snaps on to reveal this spiky mess of a teenager. He's grinning like he didn't wake up in a completely different world with no real knowledge of how he got there. ]

[ Watch as he he takes one deck of cards in his right hand, closes his fist and the same deck appears in his left. ]

So, sounds like we'll be staying here a while.

I'm Kuroba Kaito- [ He closes his fist and the deck of cards disappears again only for the deck to reappear, back in it's box with the plastic wrapping over it as he somehow spins it on his fingertip. ] -Resident Magician.

Nice to meet you all in advance-but I do have a few questions based on a few things I've heard.

[ He covers the box with one hand for a second and then reveals the box and wrapping are gone. He next bends the deck to the cards shoot up but then promptly turn into confetti. ]

Lose interest in my magic? [ With a twist of his wrist the deck of cards has reappeared and then seems to sudden become a small round ball. ]

( If she were as normal of a child as she tries to appear to be, she might have been impressed with it. As it is, she just continues to stare blankly towards the screen. )

It's an illusion? ( Or maybe some kind of magic that keeps them all together. )

[There were only so many coincidences Conan was willing to accept. To have a teenage magician show up so soon after Kid, and one with such a resemblance to his own teenage self. When he was well aware that Kid resembled him closely enough to disguise as him without a mask...

None of that was evidence, of course. It was circumstantial, at best.

But Conan had suspicions. So many suspicions.]

[She...wasn't expecting that, actually, and his response was enough to surprise her on two different levels. First, by claiming to not have heard of THE most famous troupe...and then to follow it up by claiming his own father was "famous" as well.]

Following in his footsteps, then. [It was a guess, but not that huge of a leap.] I can't say I disapprove.

Although if you want to make it in showbusiness, kid, you should really learn the big names out there.
