[Yet another video post appeared on the network, but this one seemed to be shot by someone who knew how to work a camera. For a moment it was just a shot of some white fluff on a bed before Leo's face edged into the camera.]

Hey, look, I know everyone is kinda emotional and on edge right now because of this whole being dragged onto the turtle business and strange symbols appearing on your body but seriously. We all need to take a moment to chill the fuck out. Getting mad at the natives isn't gonna help, and neither is at each other. I'm pretty sure the only thing that accomplishes is making you look like an asshole.

[Leo took himself out of range of the camera to focus on the white fluff again, which was in fact the most adorable picture of two bibirus cuddling each other. They were both very round and snuggled up against each other's body, the slightly bigger one wrapping a wing over the both of them.]

Look at that. Look, I came back to this and almost died. This is literally the cutest thing ever. Please everyone, just look at this shit. I'm gonna die. Everyone just stop for a moment and look at this, I swear it will make you feel better at least a little.


God I'm so sleep deprived.

[Leo did a double take when the boy said that, staring back at him through the camera with his own god-like eyes back at him.]

Oh. Wow.

Holy shit, you really are, aren't you?

[ Kid looks slightly taken aback by the amazement. ]

Why would I lie about something like that?

People lie about shit all the time, okay? Especially about things they are. But you can't fool my eyes.

[His wierd, squinty eyes.]

Your eyes?

[ A beat; then Kid seems to perk up. ]

Oh, you have Soul Perception, or something like it?

[iseeall]

Do I have what? I dunno what that is. But I can see YOUR soul. It's all. You know....

[He waves his fingers a little bit.] Like a soul. They're a bunch of pretty colors, usually.

[ Kid raises an eyebrow at that. ]

Generally they do have one dominant colour, but yes.

Forgive my interest, soul perception at home is a fairly rare gift for humans.

To be fair, I'm pretty fucking weird where I'm from. I mean in the eyes way. Not the human way. That part is normal, which makes it weird because everyone is so weird.

[That made sense, didn't it, Kid?]

I mean, you're kinda weird looking to me, but everyone else I know has super powers.
